Ember Connect is proud to announce it has been selected as a Future Generation Women (FGW) inaugural non-profit partner, joining nine organisations nationally recognised for creating access to work for women facing the greatest barriers.
Future Generation Women announced its inaugural partners at an event in Sydney Wednesday the 10th of December, attended by Ember Connect General Manager Narelle Henry. The national grant round attracted 129 applications from every state and territory, with nine partners selected: Common Ground First Nations, Ember Connect, Global Sisters, Prison Network, Protea Place, SisterWorks, Stepping Stone Social Enterprise, The Social Outfit and WomenCAN Australia.
FGW’s inaugural partner cohort supports women most impacted by economic inequality, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, refugee and migrant women, older women living in poverty, women with disability, single mothers and carers, rural, regional and remote women, and women who have been incarcerated.

Future Generation Women is an unlisted investment fund for wholesale and sophisticated investors that donates 1.0% of net assets each year to Australian non-profits advancing economic equality for women and their children. Future Generation has donated $100 million to Australian non-profits since inception in 2014 across its funds.
