Ember Connect is pleased to announce the appointment of Sharna Meinertz (Lawrence) Meinertz to our Board of Directors and to acknowledge the retirement of Natasha Kickett, who is stepping down to focus on her growing consultancy, Kaarla Baabpa Consulting.
We thank Natasha for her important contribution during her time on the Board. Her strong connection to community and deep insights made her a valued member of the board and we look forward to her continued involvement in the Ember Connect community.
We warmly welcome Sharna, a proud Yued Whadjuk woman and highly accomplished financial professional specialising in Indigenous organisational sustainability. With more than two decades of experience as a fully accredited financial planner and qualifications including a Bachelor of Business and a Masters in Financial Planning, Sharna brings deep expertise in developing governance frameworks and investment strategies that strengthen Indigenous entities.
Sharna’s personal mission to build financial literacy and make powerful knowledge accessible to Indigenous leaders and communities aligns beautifully with Ember Connect’s work.
