Mentoring

Starting in August 2023 we are running a six-month trial of our exciting mentoring program for First Nations women and we need your support.  By taking part in the trial you have the unique opportunity to help shape the program whilst also receiving quality mentorship from exceptional members of the Ember Connect community.

The mentoring is delivered online, harnessing the power of technology to create a cutting-edge and inclusive mentorship experience. By utilising our digital platform and tools, the trial opens up new possibilities and extends its reach to a broader audience of First Nations women, regardless of geographical locations or time zones.

By participating in our mentoring program as a mentor, you will not only be making a lasting impact on someone else, you’ll also sharpen your own leadership skills. You will expand your network, connecting with like-minded individuals who share your passion for personal and professional development.

For those who are interested in being mentees, this is an incredible opportunity to gain valuable insights, receive guidance from other women, and accelerate your personal or professional growth.

By participating in this exciting trial, mentors and mentees alike contribute to the collective strength and growth of the Ember Connect community. As the program evolves, the ripple effects of mentorship will create sustained positive change, not only in the lives of individuals involved but also in the broader network of our women, their families and communities.

Join us in this exciting journey as we elevate and empower women through meaningful mentorship connections, creating opportunities for professional and personal growth in a supportive and nurturing environment.

The development of our mentoring program has only been made possible through our exciting partnership with Indigenous Business Australia (IBA).  IBA is proud to support Ember Connect with their mentoring program to elevate First Nations Women and enact systemic change through mentoring and networking.

Ember Connect wishes to acknowledge the many Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and we honour their deep continuing connection to land, sky, waterways and community.

We pay our respects to our Elders past, present and emerging who illuminate our journey to truth-telling, culture and conservation, which remains stronger than ever.
