The Board and Management of Ember Connect wholeheartedly support an Indigenous Voice enshrined in the Constitution and recognise the significance of its passage as being a fundamental step towards implementing the Uluru Statement of the Heart in full, and in our collective journey to create a more just and equitable future for all Australians.

We believe that meaningful and lasting change requires a deep understanding of the historical and ongoing factors that contribute to social injustice and the first step in confronting those issues is enshrining an Indigenous Voice in the Constitution. A positive outcome to the referendum will help build momentum towards our fundamental goal of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women leading a life of choice, in a society where they are valued.
