Grants for First Nations-owned small business
Applications for the August Round of Ember Connect’s 2026 Game Changer Grants open on Monday 10 August 2026, with $24,000 in grants available.
The August Round is for First Nations women who require financial support to develop or build their own small business.
You can use the funding to bring your business idea to life or to develop and grow your existing business. For example, it could be used to build a website, get legal advice, support product development, purchase equipment or take part in a trade show. We’re open to considering any expenses that would help you start, develop or grow your business. Refer to the terms and conditions for more information.

Applications are open to eligible women living in metro, regional and remote communities across Australia. Women living in regional and remote areas are strongly encouraged to apply.
We know every journey is different. This application is designed to be simple and accessible, giving you the opportunity to share your goals, the opportunity you’re pursuing and how a GameChanger Grant could help you take the next step with your small business.
Applicants must be a member of the Ember Connect community (membership is free), be aged 18 years or above, and be a woman of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.
