We are excited to announce the recipients of Ember Connect’s latest $5,000 Game Changer Grants, supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women entrepreneurs.
This round focused on early stage and growing small businesses. Applications were received from across the country and were deidentified, independently assessed and shortlisted before final selection by a sub-committee of our Board.
Our March 2026 recipients are:
Belinda Cashman – Giilang Yindyamarra – Respectful Stories
Developing culturally authentic educational games celebrating Aboriginal identity, language and health.
Masepa Manai – MANAI Wellness & Nutrition Inc
A First Nations women led wellbeing social enterprise, including the launch of Tjanabi, a native wattle seed energy drink.
Sharon Leisk – Jindaya
A First Nations led enterprise supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women into practical technology pathways that do not require a university degree.
Ember Connect General Manager Narelle Henry said:
